For the past fifteen years, I have worked in San Diego’s events industry. In March 2006 I graduated from SDSU’s Meeting and Events Planning Program, and have worked on a variety of different projects including but not limited to fundraisers, 5K runs, galas, conferences, golf tournaments, corporate and social events.

In January of 2018 I was invited as a guest speaker at the International Live Event Association's (ILEA) conference "The Special Event". My topic Creativity on a Shoestring Budget was well received by planners all over the globe. I have served on the San Diego Meeting Professionals International (SDMPI) Board of Directors as their Director of Special Events, Director of Strategic Alliance, Director of Membership, and VP of Communications. In 2005 I received the SDMPI Presidents Award for Event Planning Excellence.

I've been photographing events for 12 years now. Events breathe. Events have a rhythm. After so much time and so many different events around the world. I've learned to recognize the flow of an event as it happens around me. You develop a sense of when something is going to happen and where the best spot to see it will be.

I approach event photography the same way I approach portrait photography. Authenticity is king! The best event photos capture real emotion, real moments, and real people having a real good time. I've been told more than once "we didn't even know you were there!" and "You were so good at getting my family to relax." in the same breath. Great event photography is knowing when to observe the action and when to be a part of it to enhance the moment.

I’m a visual designer focused on helping your event become a reality in this digital media age. Brand recognition, digital marketing, graphic design, logo creation, overall digital media content creation-my  come with a promise of high quality, dedication, and transparent communication. I’m a Southern California native who has always been interested in the arts and design. I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a BA in Theatre Arts in 2013. From there I began self-marketing and working with the digital media medium. I have been designing and self-marketing using digital media for 6 years, and have been managing social media accounts for 2 and a half years. I specialize in logo creation and my clients include, but are not limited to: realtors, real estate businesses, business supply companies, photographers, fitness influencers and content creators. I have received a Professional Certificate in Digital Media Content Creation and a Professional Certificate in Graphic Design.
